My painting is my complete freedom.
My world is not meant to stand still. It changes, transforms and explores different forms, colours, figures and stories.
Sometimes it all begins underwater.
Underwater worlds hold a special place in my work. I love imagining this silent, mysterious world where shapes move, colours blend and reality becomes something entirely different.
Fish, plants, figures and imaginary creatures meet in compositions where painting becomes a world to explore.
Beneath the surface, anything can exist.
It is a space of freedom, imagination and colour.

Then painting begins to occupy more space.
ISAYOTTAS are large-format works I conceived to give my imagination more room.
Some measure 1.50 × 1.50 metres, 2 metres or more.
Some are painted on both sides.
The word ISAYOTTA is my own invention. It did not exist before my paintings. I created it to name works that can be large, surprising, colourful, strange or simply free.
An ISAYOTTA does not have to follow a rule.
It can begin with an idea and evolve while I paint.
It can become something other than what I originally imagined.
I paint, and sometimes the painting makes decisions with me.

And painting can go even further.
TENISAFARA are my monumental works.
They can reach 10 metres in length and 1.60 metres in height.
But a TENISAFARA is not simply a very long painting.
It is made up of five paintings forming one continuous work.
You can discover it as a whole, like a long pictorial journey.
But it can also be divided into five independent paintings.
Each section can then live its own life while remaining part of the original work.
I love this possibility: creating an immense work, then seeing it differently, separating and recomposing it.

Underwater worlds, ISAYOTTAS, TENISAFARA and all my other paintings belong to the same journey.
I can change format, subject, colours or painting technique.
I can move from a small canvas to a ten-metre work.
I can be figurative, expressive, poetic, strange or simply feel like trying something new.
I do not want to confine myself to a definition.
I am a chameleon painter.
My painting can change its appearance.
But it is always driven by the same thing:
freedom.
And deep down, what matters most to me is very simple:
to paint.
