I am Isafara, a painter.
I have been painting for many years, driven by one constant desire: to be free.
Free to change subjects, formats, colours, techniques and worlds.
I can paint an underwater world, a figure, a landscape, an unusual scene, a large composition or a painting several metres long.
I may start a canvas with a clear idea and let it evolve as I paint.
I paint what I want, how I want and when I want.
I do not seek to fit into a particular category or always paint in the same way.
That is why I describe myself as a chameleon painter.
My painting may change its appearance, but it always retains the same desire to explore, imagine and create.
Over the years, I have created works that sometimes occupy a great deal of space.
ISAYOTTAS are large-scale works, sometimes painted on both sides.
TENISAFARA works can reach 10 metres in length and consist of five paintings forming a single work.
These formats are also a way for me to push beyond the usual boundaries of painting.
I have held exhibitions, met audiences and shared some of my work.
But I do not paint solely to exhibit.
Many of my paintings remain in my studio, some rolled up, others still waiting to be discovered.
That is part of my story.
I simply keep painting, searching, experimenting and starting again.
Because, ultimately, painting is what matters most to me.
Welcome to the world of Isafara.
